Dr. Anne Turcea Named First Female Vice Chief of Staff

Anne Turcea, MD, FACOG, at Women’s Care of the Commonwealth in Danville was recently named the first female Vice Chief of Staff for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. In this role, Dr. Turcea will provide leadership, guidance, and a voice for the medical staff while promoting effective communication between medical staff and hospital administration.
Dr. Turcea has worked as an obstetrician and gynecologist for more than 16 years. She is board-certified, recognized as a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and serves as a board member for the Boyle County Health Department.
“I’m honored to make history at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center as the first female vice chief of staff and look forward to serving such a dedicated group of physicians,” stated Dr. Turcea.
Dr. Turcea is a native of Danville, Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed her residency at the University of Iowa.
